Overview
This program is built on the core philosophy of "driven by digital frontiers, linked by industrial practice, and enriched by cultural heritage," creating an immersive learning system for international students.
At the academic Session, by inviting globally renowned scholars to deliver keynote lectures and organize seminars, the program focuses on three pillars—algorithms, data science, and behavioral science—to deeply deconstruct modern paradigms in the platform economy, brand management, supply chain, and financial decision-making. It emphasizes the integration of technological logic and business strategy, systematically enhancing participants' comparative analytical capabilities regarding digital development models in China and Europe.
At the practical Session, through corporate visits and case studies, participants will gain an intuitive understanding of the operational mechanisms of China's digital economy, learn to apply big data technologies in typical scenarios such as smart cities, cross-border e-commerce, and fintech, and develop a systematic mindset that integrates "technology, business, and society," enabling them to propose actionable analytical insights.
At the cultural Session, the course incorporates the regional characteristics of Jiangnan and traditional cultural experiences. Through activities such as exploring the canal cultural route (combined with GIS data analysis), intangible cultural heritage crafting, tea ceremony studies, and Sino-foreign dialogues, participants will deepen their understanding of Chinese traditional culture and local development contexts, clearly identify the similarities and differences between the big data industries in China and the Netherlands, and significantly enhance their cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills.
Participants will develop a deep understanding of China's digital ecosystem, clarify the application of their professional skills in transnational contexts, and lay a solid foundation for future participation in Sino-Dutch cooperation, employment in the Chinese market, or further academic pursuits.
